Principal
I take great pride in leading such a fine team of educators at the Roland
Rogers Elementary School! As I reflect back on my many years in administration,
I can honestly say that the faculty and staff of Roland Rogers work hard to
provide our students with the best educational experiences. Our school gives
students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and creativity in all genres of
academia. We adopted a ‘team’ concept in our efforts to develop and maintain
an effective school. Our accomplishments and successful ventures are results of
the entire school (faculty, staff, administration, and parents) effectively working
together as a team!
Academically, Roland Rogers’ continues to make great strides toward
increasing student achievement. With a 95% participation rate, Roland’s 2015
PARCC results show that 52.9% of the ELA standards and 51.9% of Math
standards were met. Overall, our students are meeting and / or exceeding the PARCC consortium expectations.
We look forward to continuing our academic and social successes – but we cannot accomplish this by ourselves, we need
YOU, our parents! Our parents and community volunteers play an enormous role in the success our school so please get
involved and help us help your child succeed!
